How to Enable the Multilanguage Feature?

To use your Gurulize platform in Turkish, English, and Spanish simultaneously, you can follow the steps below.
  1. After logging into the admin panel, navigate to “Settings > Language Settings.”


  1. On the Language Settings page, first save your “Default Language” selection. Then, enable the languages you want to use by checking the “Open to Public Use” and “Open for Content Entry” options, and save your changes.


  1. After enabling the “Open for Content Entry” setting, you need to add all your platform content in the selected languages. To identify which fields are affected by the multilanguage feature, you can refer to the language labels displayed next to the content fields. Any field marked with a language label must be filled in for all active languages on the platform.


  1. While adding your multilanguage content, make sure to also create your homepage content in other languages by navigating to “Content > Customize Homepage.”


  1. After adding your homepage content in multiple languages via toggle mode view, click on the three-line menu in the bottom-left corner and select “Save” and “Apply Changes.”


  1. After adding and saving all your content in the selected languages, navigate to “Settings > Language Settings.” Enable the “Publish” option for the relevant languages, then click “Save” and finally “Apply Changes” in the bottom-right corner.


  1. After enabling multilanguage support and publishing all your content in the selected languages, your platform will appear similar to the example below. End users will be able to select their preferred language and use the entire interface in that language.
  2. Note: If content is not added for any of the active languages, those fields will be displayed in the default language. Displaying mixed-language content on the same page may negatively impact user experience. Therefore, we strongly recommend ensuring that all content is complete and consistent across all published languages.
