Step-by-Step Guide to Enable Expert Stripe Payment

Make sure your settings are correct on the Stripe panel. 
You must check your Connect Branding Settings with the business name, icon, and brand color in order to create an account link. You can set the missing fields at https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/connect\n

Step 1: Accessing the Admin Panel When you log in to your Gurulize admin page, the left sidebar will greet you with various sections of the panel. To begin the process, follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Content" in the left sidebar.
  2. Select "Settings" from the options presented.
  3. Choose the "Enable Expert Stripe Payment" option.
  4. Finally, click on "Update" and "Apply Changes" at the bottom of the page to save your settings.




Configuring Payment Gateway Settings

Step 2: Accessing Payment Gateway Settings To configure the payment gateway settings for Stripe, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Payment Gateway" settings.
  2. Under the Stripe section, you'll find three specific fields that require your attention.





Field 1: Delay Day Specify the number of days after the money is transferred to the expert's account before it can be received as a real bank payout from their Stripe account. This delay is crucial to ensure sufficient funds are available in the expert's account in case of customer refund requests.

Field 2: API Key and Client ID Enter your Stripe API Key and Client ID correctly in the payment gateway options. Retrieve these values from the customer's Stripe panel and input them into the admin panel.

Note: If you haven't enabled the "Enable Expert Stripe Payment" setting in Step 1, the Stripe API Key and Client ID fields in Step 3 will remain hidden.




  • Step 3: Locating Stripe API Key and Client ID To find the required Stripe API Key and Client ID, follow these steps:


    1. Access your Stripe panel.

Enabling Expert Stripe Payment for New Experts

Step 4: Initiating Expert Stripe Account Creation When the "Expert Stripe Payment" setting is enabled, new experts logging into their panel for the first time will encounter a link prompt as shown above. To proceed with Stripe account creation on behalf of an expert, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the provided link.
  2. Follow the prompts to open a Stripe account for the respective expert.

Step 5: Completion and Revenue Share Upon successfully creating the expert's Stripe account, it will appear as follows:

  1. The setup is now complete, and experts will receive their income directly into their Stripe accounts.
  2. The revenue-sharing ratio determines the amount deposited into the experts' Stripe accounts.
  3. Manage the revenue share percentage by navigating to "Products > Experts > Appointment Revenue Share Percentage %."

Note: Ensure that the revenue share settings for experts with paid appointment packages are set to a value greater than 0, for example, 20.
