December 2024 Gurulize Updates

Admin Panel Updates
  1. Enable/Disable Comments Module: A new setting has been added under Expert Settings in the admin panel, allowing platform owners to enable or disable user reviews on expert profile pages.
  2. Payment Page Adjustments: The layout and information displayed—especially for Stripe—have been reorganized to avoid confusion and improve clarity for administrators.
  3. Instant Free Messaging Settings: A new setting under Settings > Communication Settings now allows admins to define how long users can send free instant messages to experts after booking an appointment.
  4. ParamPOS Integration: ParamPOS has been integrated as a new payment system. Platform owners can now accept payments by adding their ParamPOS credentials to the admin panel.

Expert Panel Updates
  1. Package Deletion Permission: Experts can now delete their own appointment packages directly from the expert panel.
  2. User Messages at Booking Time: Messages written by users during appointment booking are now delivered to experts as instant messages once the appointment is approved.
  3. Cookie Policy Display: Similar to the admin panel, a cookie policy consent popup has been added to the expert panel.
  4. Calendar Color Coding: The calendar in the expert panel is now color-coded to distinguish between instant availability and weekly working hours.
  5. Disabling Instant Call Options: When instant call settings are disabled in the expert panel, related options will no longer be displayed to users.

Client-Side Updates
  1. Free Event Participation Restriction: Users are now allowed to join each free event only once per account/email, preventing multiple entries to the same event.
